Washington, DC

The 500Jerk family hit the big city.

After some crazy DC traffic and good Thai food, we made our way to the Lincoln Memorial.

Although I'm not sure Honest Abe would've been entirely comfortable with the grandeur of the place, it is a wonderful tribute. The Gettysburg Address and Lincoln's second inaugural address are carved on the walls--eloquent, forceful, magical speeches.

Although MLK had a dream on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, the tired 500Jerk kids had another: bed and sleep.

More adventures tomorrow.
