Report cards just came out, and this sparked an earnest discussion with second-grade Boy Wonder:

Boy Wonder: Mom, is straight As and S minuses good enough for Stanford?

Me: Probably, buddy. Just keep being diligent.

Boy Wonder: What about reading logs? Does Stanford have reading logs?

Me: No, no reading logs at Stanford.

Boy Wonder: Good. [Thinking hard.] Because that's a problem.

Boy Wonder isn't the only one who has a problem with reading logs.
