We're considering all kinds of middle-school options for Miss M over here at Chez 500Jerk. Which led to this discussion today:
Me: "How about home-schooling next year? What do you think about that?"
Miss M: "I think I will become a lonely nub."
The Spouse: "Well, how about homeschooling . . . and a hamster?"
Miss M: "I will be a lonely nub WITH A HAMSTER. Look, it's the circle of life. It's not going to happen."
