I'm headed for the North Carolina mountains and the questionable amusement of
Tweetsie. There's a Wild West train ride where the passengers carry cap guns and shoot the marauding natives. Hoo, boy. At least one member of our family can't wait to shoot a gun, though. (Hint: It's the one who, despite all the anti-gun rhetoric, pretends a stick, finger, or any pointy instrument is a weapon to shoot his family, friends, and chickens.)

Hey Kathleen, My friend De just took her kids there and was shocked at the cowboy vs Indian portrayal. What did you think?

Um . . . yeah, it's pretty anachronistic. I'm told there are scenes with bad cowboys, too. I didn't actually see any of those.
Overall, I don't think it's particularly PC, but there isn't a huge focus on the cowboy-Indian fighting. It's mostly just Wild West. With cap guns. (Which we sent home with my SIL.)
