Unitarian Church

I can't express how saddened I am at the Unitarian church shooting yesterday and the deaths of some its members. Some of our very dearest friends attend that church. Luckily, they weren't there yesterday. The church is right up the road from us and does all sorts of wonderful community outreach, artistic, environmental, and spiritual. They are especially welcoming of gays and lesbians, which makes me wonder if that was a motive for this violence. That there was a children's production in session when the shooting occurred makes it that much worse. I can't imagine what this man would have been thinking.
