Turning 40

It’s happening this Friday, and I’m taking the day off. I think I’ll loaf and shop and pick my kids up early—you know, see how a real blogger lives. As for presents, I really can’t think of anything I want or need (EXCEPT FOR THAT RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE DUALIT TOASTER THAT WOULD LOOK SO COOL ON MY COUNTER). And I’m having a hard time dreaming up a way to celebrate (A MAGPIES CAKE IS ALWAYS NICE, THOUGH). But I’m keeping a positive attitude (AFTER ALL, THERE’S ALWAYS BOTOX).
