Regal's Gay Street cinema is showing Twilight starting tonight at 12:01AM. For those of you living under a rock, Twilight's the much-anticipated movie based on Stephanie Meyer's book series about an angsty, star-crossed romance between an unremarkable teen and her fabulously hot (but chaste) vampire lover. Publicity-related appearances by Twilight's actors this week have caused wild mall stampedes and rampant hearing loss among Twilight's thousands of screaming teen fans.
Will I be out there tonight on the freezing cold sidewalk with Knoxville's hysterical goth teenagers and their equally overwrought mothers?
At this point, I can't entirely rule that possibility out.
