Girls Weekend 1.0

This past weekend, the GNO crew (minus one) headed east to the North Carolina mountains for a girls' long weekend of rest and relaxation. We stayed at our friend's lovely and comfortable mountain home, where the view of Grandfather Mountain was spectacular. See his silhouetted profile?

We shopped at the outlets and boutiques in Blowing Rock, talked, ate leisurely meals, and generally did whatever we pleased for three days. It was absolutely delightful.

The weather was unusually warm, so we spent a lot of time on the deck in our PJs drinking coffee and soaking up the long views. We were up so high that we could see the early morning fog pooling in the valley below.

Baby L made things ever so much more snuggly. She is such a sweet and happy baby girl, and we all enjoyed her immensely.

We stayed up late (and I mean LATE) for three nights solid, drinking wine, having heart to hearts, and making each other giggle. Have you ever seen a Tri Delt do her "closer" dance? Ye gads.

It was a wonderful weekend. I can't wait until next year.
