Current Read-Aloud: The Indian in the Cupboard

Boy Wonder and I finally finished the nine-hour audio version of Peter and the Starcatchers (co-authored by Dave Barry, oddly enough) and have now started on The Indian in the Cupboard, by Lynne Reid Banks.

Thunder is booming, and there is a torrential downpour on this dark Monday morning in Knoxville. But just yesterday, Boy Wonder and I lay curled in a hammock, reading the first chapter of The Indian in the Cupboard while sunshine streamed through the yellow maple leaves above us.

Although I know we need rain, here's hoping for more sunny days!
