I've heard plenty of online and in-person kitchenistas lament the cabinet space occupied by single-purpose kitchen appliances, but this one (pardon the expression) really takes the cake. It is cumbersome, hot, and heavy. It takes up an inordinate amount of counter space when it is out and cannot be neatly tucked away when it is not. It makes unhealthy food I'd really rather my kids not eat, and on top of all that, it's PINK.Naturally, Miss M loves it.
So I'm shoving aside the rice maker, waffle iron, and ice cream maker. The large-crowd coffee maker and stainless steel warming dishes need to find new homes. Somehow we've got to find room to house the newest uni-tool Chez 500Jerk.
Cupcakes, anyone?
